LEO MUSEUM FIELD TRIP
What is better than spending Christmas alone at home? For the Leos, a day trip to local museums.
December 23. The Leos gathered together first thing in the morning and set off to a nearby bus station to reach the Kota Tua region of Jakarta. The plan was to visit 6 different museums in the region, but they ended up visiting only 2 because travelling to Kota Tua took up a lot of time.
The Leos visited Museum of Bank Indonesia first, where they learnt about the economic condition of Indonesia since the 19th century and observed ancient coins and bank notes displayed in the museum. Following it was the Wayang Museum, where they learnt about the different types and variations of wayang (Indonesian traditional puppet) made all over Indonesia. The day ended with another bus trip back to where they gathered, with each Leo returning back to their homes after the fun and enlightening day.
